ARVI Park

Pueblito Paisa

It is located at the top of Nutibara Hill. It's a space dedicated to the traditional villages of Antioquia thus becoming a commemorative replica of the tradition paisa. It has a stone square, a fountain, a church, a priest's house, the town hall, the barbershop and the school, characteristic places of traditional villages.

The village paisa has balconies that give a wonderful view of the city of Medellin day and night. There you can find handicraft shops and typical food restaurants where visitors can get directly involved with the Paisa culture that commemorates this place.

Paisa Tray

This dish is traditionally made up of eleven invariable ingredients: Antioquian beans, white rice, ground beef, pork rinds, eggs, ripe plantains, Antioquian chorizo, arepa antioqueña based on corn, hogao, black pudding and avocado. The fundamental characteristic of this dish is its enormous abundance, both in quantity and variety of foods, so that the complete paisa tray only fits in large dishes called trays.

Gastronomy in Medellín

Mazamorra

It is a typical preparation of the region of Antioch. It consists of cooking the corn in water until it is soft, add milk and panela to sweeten it and serve it in large bowls. It can be consumed at any time of the day accompanied by sweets such as panela and sandwich. It can also be enjoyed as a delicious dessert.
